This Privacy Policy explains how the Virtual Try-On App ("App", "we", "our", or "us"), operated by A&A Distributors LLC, collects, uses, and protects information when merchants install and use the App through the Shopify platform.

1. Data We Access from Shopify

In accordance with Shopify’s API and Protected Customer Data requirements, we access only the minimum data necessary to operate the App:

Store name and store URL
Store email address
Shopify store ID
Subscription and billing status

We do not access customer names, phone numbers, addresses, payment information, or order history.

2. Customer Images & Virtual Try-On Data

If enabled by the merchant, the App processes:

Product images
User-uploaded images for virtual try-on previews

Images are processed solely to generate virtual try-on results and are:

Used only for on-demand image generation
Processed temporarily and automatically deleted
If customer prefer to store their tryon images, it will be stored but it never stored long-term
Never linked to identifiable customer information
Never used for advertising, profiling, or AI model training

3. AI & Third-Party Processing (Google Cloud)

The App uses Google Cloud AI to perform AI-based image processing required for the virtual try-on feature.

Google Cloud acts strictly as a data sub-processor
Data is processed only on our instructions
Data is encrypted in transit

All processing complies with Shopify’s Protected Customer Data requirements.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process data based on:

Contractual necessity – to provide App functionality
Legitimate interest – to operate, secure, and improve the App

5. CCPA Notice (California Residents)

A&A Distributors LLC does not sell or share personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

California residents have the right to request:

Information about data processing
Deletion of personal data
Confirmation that data is not sold

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Merchant data is retained only while the App is installed
Temporary image data is deleted immediately or shortly after processing
All associated data is removed upon App uninstallation unless required by law

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including secure API authentication, encrypted communication (HTTPS), and restricted internal access to data.

8. Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for informing their customers about the use of virtual try-on functionality and referencing this App in their storefront privacy policy where required.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
